Safety and urgent care
SQEDULE is not an emergency medical service. It helps you find and book private healthcare and should not be used when you need immediate or emergency medical attention.
In an emergency
If you or someone else is seriously ill or injured, or there may be an immediate risk to life, call 999 or go to A&E. Do not wait for an appointment booked through SQEDULE.
Need urgent medical help?
If you need medical help now but are not sure whether it is an emergency, use NHS urgent care. In England, contact NHS 111 online or by phone for advice about an urgent medical problem.
If you are thinking about harming yourself
If you are in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent mental health support, call NHS 111 and choose the mental health option. You can also call Samaritans free, day or night, on 116 123.
Searching by symptom or concern
SQEDULE lets you describe what you're experiencing or search by a health concern. This helps you find healthcare services and providers that may be relevant. It does not diagnose, decide how serious your symptoms are or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Do not use search results to decide whether it is safe to delay medical care.
If you're worried, get medical advice
Symptoms can have many causes, and a search cannot tell how serious they are. If you're unsure how urgently you need care, get advice from a healthcare professional or NHS urgent care rather than waiting for a SQEDULE appointment.
Already have an appointment?
If your symptoms get worse while you wait, do not wait because you have a SQEDULE booking. Get urgent or emergency medical care.
Who provides your healthcare
Healthcare booked through SQEDULE is provided by the professional or organisation shown on your booking. They are responsible for assessing you, deciding whether a service or treatment is clinically appropriate, getting your consent and providing your care. SQEDULE provides the platform that helps you find and book that care.
